The CPHR International Management Academy successfully conducted an on-campus aCPHR® (Associate Certified Practitioner in Human Resources) Certification Assessment on July 11, 2025, at the IHRI Global Center – Manila, marking another key milestone in advancing accessible and globally aligned HR certification in the Philippines.

The session was formally opened by Jester Biluan, IHRI Regional Director for Asia-Pacific and Oceania, who highlighted the significance of the aCPHR® Certification as a stepping stone for students and young professionals seeking to establish a strong foundation in the HR field. In his message, Biluan underscored the vital role of early certification in preparing aspiring practitioners to meet global industry expectations and become future contributors to organizational growth.

The program was led by Karl Nama, Program Director for aCPHR, who provided an overview of the certification structure, coverage, and standards set by the International HR Institute (IHRI). Nama emphasized the assessment’s alignment with international HR frameworks and its focus on developing not just technical proficiency but also ethical and strategic thinking skills essential for modern HR practice.

Held at IHRI’s state-of-the-art Global Center – Manila, the assessment took place in a facility specifically designed to uphold the integrity and rigor of professional examinations. The Global Center features modern examination rooms, collaborative training spaces, and technology-enabled learning environments, providing an ideal venue for in-person certification programs and capacity-building sessions.

Administered by CPHR International, the aCPHR® Certification remains one of the most relevant credentials for students and early-career professionals aiming to enter the HR profession with confidence and credibility. The certification validates their readiness to handle HR functions in dynamic organizational settings and establishes a clear pathway toward higher-level designations within the CPHR framework.
