The CPHR International Management Academy and the International HR Institute (IHRI) proudly participated as industry partner at the State of HR Summit 2025, held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center. The highly anticipated summit, powered by Sprout Solutions in partnership with BS Works, brought together over 500 HR professionals, business leaders, and decision-makers from top organizations across the Philippines.
With the theme centered on “Human + AI: The Future of Work,” the event tackled key trends shaping modern workforce strategies, including the Job Embeddedness Framework, AI-powered retention strategies, and actionable approaches for addressing employee engagement and organizational resilience in a rapidly changing digital economy.

Mikel Leroi Balansag, Executive Director of the International HR Institute, joined the esteemed panel discussion titled “The AI-Ready HR Team: Powering the Next Chapter of Workforce Strategy.” Alongside other prominent HR thought leaders, Balansag shared insights on how HR teams can evolve to become more data-driven, tech-empowered, and human-centered in an age where AI is transforming decision-making and talent management.
During the discussion, Balansag emphasized the importance of developing AI-literate HR professionals who can balance innovation with empathy — ensuring that technology enhances, rather than replaces, the human touch in people management. He also highlighted IHRI’s commitment to supporting organizations in building strategic, future-ready HR teams through globally benchmarked certification programs and research-driven learning initiatives.

As an industry partner, CPHR International Management Academy reinforced its support for large-scale initiatives that promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the HR profession. The organization’s participation reflects its ongoing mission to empower practitioners with globally aligned HR competencies and to contribute to shaping the next generation of people leaders in the Philippines and beyond.
The State of HR Summit 2025 also unveiled findings from the Human + AI Workplace Survey, which gathered insights from over 3,000 HR leaders, managers, and employees nationwide. The results shed light on evolving trends in workforce engagement, retention, and the growing role of AI in redefining HR functions.
Through its presence at the event, IHRI and CPHR International Management Academy reaffirmed their shared vision of fostering a forward-looking HR community — one that embraces technology, upholds human values, and drives sustainable organizational transformation.
